Effects of different amounts of morning limning in carp culture ponds on blood ionic and biochemical parameters of cultured carp

Abstract

Effects of different amounts of morning liming on blood ionic parameters and blood biochemical parameters of cultured carp ponds in Dikjeh area of Gonbad were investigated. 9 ponds (3 hectars) were chosen and divided in 3 treatments (1- liming 750 mg/l, 2- liming 1250 mg/l, 3- liming 1750 mg/l). Liming had significant effect on blood hematocrite (P0.05) were observed between other blood parameters with liming (P>0.05). According to results no significant correlation (P>0.05) were observed between liming with blood glucose, magnesium, calcium and sodium.
