For this reason, providing methods to reduce transportation stress can improve fish health. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of adding thymol to water on biochemical parameters of common carp during transportation. For this purpose, common carp were transported in plastic bags containing 0 (control), 5 and 10 mg/L thymol (three plastic bags per concentration) for 3 hours. Plastic bags were filled with 4 liters water and 8 liters pure oxygen. Blood samples were taken from all treatments immediately after transportation and 24 hours after recovery. The results showed that fish transportation and thymol concentration had no effect on the activity of alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, total protein, globulin, albumin, and thyroxin in the fish blood plasma. On the other hand, after transportation, blood aspartate aminotransferase and lactate dehydrogenase activity increased and blood triiodothyronine levels decreased. Thymol, especially at a concentration of 5 mg/L, reduced the effect of transport on the activity of aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase and blood triiodothyronine. These results show that thymol reduces the stress and metabolism of carp during transportation. Therefore, a concentration of 5 mg/L thymol is recommended for short-term transportation of common carp.}, keywords = {Stress,Blood,anesthesia,hepatic enzymes,thyroid}, title_fa = {اثر افزودن تیمول به آب حمل و نقل بر هورمونهای تیروئیدی، پروتئین و آنزیمهای پلاسما در ماهی کپور معمولی (Cyprinus carpio)}, abstract_fa = {حمل و نقل ماهی در صنعت آبزی پروری یکی از عوامل بروز استرس بوده و اجتناب ناپذیر است. به همین دلیل، ارائه روشهای کاهش استرس حمل و نقل می تواند به بهبود سلامت ماهی ها کمک نماید. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی اثر افزودن تیمول به آب بر شاخصهای بیوشیمیایی خون ماهی کپور معمولی در خلال حمل و نقل بود. به این منظور، 180 قطعه ماهی کپور در کیسه های پلاستیکی حاوی صفر (شاهد)، 5 و 10 میلی گرم در لیتر تیمول (سه کیسه پلاستیکی برای هر غلظت) به مدت 3 ساعت حمل و نقل شدند. کیسه های پلاستیکی با ۴ لیتر آب و ۸ لیتر اکسیژن خالص پر شدند. نمونه خون بلافاصله بعد از حمل و 24 ساعت بعد از بهوش آمدن از همه تیمارها گرفته شد. نتایج نشان داد که حمل و نقل و غلظت تیمول ماهی اثری بر فعالیت آلانین آمینوترنسفراز، آلکالین فسفاتاز، غلظت پروتئین کل، گلبولین، آلبومین، و تیروکسین پلاسمای خون ماهی ندارند (P>0.05). از طرفی، پس از حمل و نقل، فعالیت آسپارتات آمینوترنسفراز و لاکتات دهیدروژناز خون افزایش و تری یدوتیرونین خون کاهش یافت (P<0.05). تیمول به خصوص در غلظت 5 میلی گرم در لیتر، باعث کاهش اثر حمل و نقل بر فعالیت آسپارتات آمینوترنسفراز، لاکتات دهیدروژناز و تری یدوتیرونین خون شد. این نتایج نشان می دهند که تیمول باعث کاهش استرس و متابولیسم ماهی کپور در خلال حمل و نقل می شود. لذا، غلظت 5 میلی گرم در لیتر تیمول جهت حمل و نقل کوتاه مدت ماهی کپور توصیه می گردد.}, keywords_fa = {استرس,خون,بیهوشی,آنزیمهای کبدی,تیروئید}, url = {https://japu.gau.ac.ir/article_5977.html}, eprint = {https://japu.gau.ac.ir/article_5977_08297e8ac164d7f9f55b1e975dec6eb5.pdf} }
