[English]

The aim of this study was to investigate poultry slaughterhouse wastewater quality characteristics for optimum use in the aquaculture industry. Wastewater was placed in three tanks with a volume of 70 liters. At first experiment (start), 5 finger carp was introduced into each tank (Total of 15 fish) that 100 percent of the fish deaths occurred in less than 3 hours. The test was twice (3 replicate). In the second experiment, the effluent was intense aeration for 3 hours which caused settling of solids and possibly decolorize it, Then 5 finger carp were introduced to each tank (Total of 15 fish). The test was twice (3 replicate). At this stage, was not observed mortality and survival was 100 percent. Quality parameters of wastewater for 30 days (days 0, 3, 7, 15 and 30) were investigated without the presence of fish. The results showed that there was not statistically significant difference at different times in the amount of dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH and total dissolved solids (TDS) (p<0.05). The ammonium, nitrate, phosphate, alkalinity, total hardness and electrical conductivity at different times of the experiment statistically significant difference (p>0.05). According to achieve an acceptable level of quality characteristics of poultry slaughterhouse waste for Carp culture, Can be suggested re-use of wastewater in aquaculture.
